My contribution to the BBC Microcomputer project and other stories
Charles Hope
Monday 19th March 2007, 7:45pm

Most of you will know Charles Hope as a regular visitor to SASAUG and ROUGOL, and contributor to the Acorn newsgroups (sometimes as KT24 in "leafy Surrey"). He is a retired BBC engineer who is now seriously involved in the amateur theatre.

Charles' talk is entitled, "My Contribution to the BBC Microcomputer Project - And Other Stories". This is your chance to find out about those small but important details that weren't quite fixed by the other movers and shakers whose biographies pop up at 25th anniversaries and similar occasions. And many other things.

Charles will be using his MicroDigital Alpha portable to power the presentation, so it will be a chance to see that machine in action and also hear about some of Charles' experiences with it.
