Impact is an easy to use relational database system. It provides facilities for the creation, editing, import and export of data, and allows data to be merged directly into Impression or OvationPro documents for mail shots, report generation, invoicing, and much more.

Matthew Phillips of Sine Nomine Software took over development of Impact in 2003 and has maintained a steady stream of upgrades ever since. This meeting will see the first showing of v3.35 which is soon to be released.

As Matthew is based in Dundee, this will be a rare opportunity for RISC OS users in the south of England to see Impact in action and ask questions.

Sine Nomine's other software, including House of Cards, SuperDoku and DrawPrint, will also be on show.

We also celebrated ROUGOL's 10th birthday at this meeting, only a few days late.
