BeagleBoard for Beginners
Monday 21st June 2010, 7:45pm
Dave Lane recently decided to get involved in trying RISC OS on new hardware by purchasing a BeagleBoard along with the other ingredients needed to get RISC OS running.
Dave will be the first to admit that he is not a techie, yet he was able to get it up and running with RISC OS in an evening, showing how far the development work on the free RISC OS 5 has progressed.
At this month's meeting Dave will give a brief overview on how to purchase a BeagleBoard and the steps required to get RISC OS running. The list of items required can be downloaded here.
You can also see Dave's BeagleBoard on the ROUGOL stand at Acorn World, which is part of the Vintage Computer Festival being held at Bletchley Park over the weekend of 19th-20th June.
