Upgrading several Risc PC systems (again!)

Despite the strenuous efforts of all involved, we do not yet seem to have fulfilled all of our objectives with regard to ROUGOL's Risc PC, plus a member's Risc PC which required various upgrades.

We therefore hope to carry out the following work at this meeting:

  • Fit new (hopefully working) floppy drive to ROUGOL Risc PC
  • Install RISC OS 4 ROM patches on various machines
  • Test DataPower 2 install on ROUGOL Risc PC
  • Install RISC OS 4 bundled applications on various machines
  • Total Risc PC motherboard swap
  • StrongARM install on member's Risc PC; test all systems for reliability
  • Probably some things I've forgotten

    • Alongside all this, there will doubtless be all sorts of discussion on all sorts of RISC OS topics!
