Calibre, LaBella and Dr Wimp
Ray Favre
Monday 17th March 2008, 7:45pm

Ray publishes the books Starting Basic and Dr Wimp's Surgery, which have thus far sold over 300 copies each. He also maintains the Dr Wimp freeware programming package, and writes articles for Archive magazine. Ray has also written RISC OS software such as Calibre (recently reviewed on Drobe), LaBella, CSVamp, meDDLe, and DirPrnt.

Calibre is a comprehensive application for designing and printing all types of calendars, whilst LaBella is a similarly comprehensive application for printing different types of labels.

At our meeting Ray will be focusing on the use of Calibre and talking about a significant upgrade to it, as well as LaBella and his other applications. There may be time for programming questions related to Dr Wimp, and Ray will also have copies of the Starting Basic and Dr Wimp's Surgery books available for sale.
