RISC OS User Group Of London
Meetings > Previous Meetings > October 2016 |
If you are thinking of getting a new RISC OS machine (maybe at the London Show which is less than two weeks after this meeting!) then the current plethora of options can be confusing. There are now machines available covering a wider range of performance and price points than even in Acorn's heyday.
Chris Hall has been busy trying them all out, producing benchmarks, and running real jobs on them to see how they measure up. He has kindly agreed to come along to ROUGOL to talk about his results and give his opinion on how each machine performs.
We hope to have an ARMX6, IGEPv5, Titanium, and several models of Raspberry Pi
at the meeting for hands on comparison and testing. Feel free to bring along your
own software to try out.
